GROUP FITNESS

An interactive and fun way to get fit and healthy

Here at Dandenong Oasis we hold a number of classes every week in the group fitness rooms – with classes suitable for everyone – teens or older adults, new to the gym or experienced, there is a class to suit all levels. 

Sessions range between 30-60 minutes in length and offer both high-intensity and lower intensity, see all the available classes in our timetable below to find the class right for you. 

CLASSES

Aqua Fit

A low-joint impact class in shallow water for all fitness levels. Exercises are designed to increase your heart rate and strengthen your abdominals, buttocks and thighs. Low impact and medium intensity.

Aqua Movers

Designed for individuals of all levels of ability and mobility aged 50 years and over. ‘Aqua Movers’ is a simple water based exercise class.

BodyPump

A pre-choreographed weights to music class using plates and barbells. One of the most popular classes in the world! If you don’t have time to do your own weights program, step right up to this class and enjoy exhilarating total body workout! BodyPump™ Express is a 30 minute format

Boxing

Boxing classes encompass both the technical aspects of boxing, along with core strengthening exercises. You will learn boxing skills such as correct form in throwing jabs, hooks and uppercuts, whilst working at an intense pace.

HIIT

HIIT is a structured workout that is designed to push you to your limits to help you achieve your results FAST. HIIT involves a combination of Functional Training & High Intensity Interval Training. In HIIT there is a massive emphasis on teaching movements, doing the workout, then beating your own score.

RPM

Indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training
