Water exercise classes are a great, low impact activity to keep you healthy and fit.
Classes are run by qualified instructors who take you through routines to music and provide a safe and gentle environment for exercise. We have a number of different programs and class styles on offer.
No matter what age or ability you are, we can provide a comprehensive workout that leaves you feeling great.
Classes are run in our 50-metre indoor heated pool and hydrotherapy pool and you can take them to your own level by using the water as your resistance and undertaking the movements with as much vigour as you like.
The programs we offer are:
Water Workout WW
Aqua Aerobics, suitable for all levels. You can have an intense workout, or take it a little easier.
This class is also suitable for pregnant women, however we strongly recommend consulting a doctor before participating. Please also inform your instructor at the start of the class, so they can modify any movements.
Water Workout (Deep)
Held in the deep end of the 50m pool. This is an athletic class, designed to improve fitness, tone and core stability. You do not need to be a confident swimmer to do this class, as you will be wearing a buoyancy belt. If you want great results, this is the class to try.
Aqua aerobics designed for our more senior participants or those wanting a light pace option, set in a fun and sociable environment.
This class is held in our Hydrotherapy pool.
Due to the heat of the pool, it is not recommended for pregnant women.
